Pocket Law is an off-line legal information library, developed jointly by the Democratic Governance and Rights Unit, the African Legal Information Institute and the Southern African Legal Information Institute. The library contains superior court judgements and, where available, legislation, from nine Southern African countries. Pocket Law features only free resources, as they are hosted on the respective countries' LIIs. If you know of a freely available resource for any of the included jurisdictions that you would like to see on Pocket Law, or if you would like to arrange access for us to source documents, do get in touch with us on firstname.lastname@example.org.
This is the first release of Pocket Law. We look forward to improving this product in future and based on your constructive feedback.
Search for Judgements from Southern Africa using the search form above, or browse for legislation under each country's page.
Items available only in PDF will not be searchable. Please use the browsing option to access those files. We are working on improving Pocket Law.
